Copyright and takedown requests

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe a sound on MemeBtn uses your work without permission, email dmca@memebtn.com with:

1. the work you own that you believe is infringed;
2. the address of each sound page on memebtn.com you want removed (for example https://memebtn.com/sound/…/);
3. your name, postal address, phone number and email;
4. a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
5. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
6. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).

We review every complete notice and remove the sound, its page and its download link when the request is valid. If you only want to be credited instead, say so in your email.

Counter-notice

If a sound was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to dmca@memebtn.com with: the removed sound and the address where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address; and your physical or electronic signature.
